ISO 14001 Certification Status
Sony Chemical & Information Device Group was quick to move for ISO 14001 individual certifications, and by 1998 all of its manufacturing sites were certified. In fiscal 2003, the Group implemented the Global Environmental Management System (GEMS) covering the entire corporate organization. Bureau Veritas's (currently BVQI) global certification of all of its manufacturing sites has been acquired by December 2005, and it has been renewed for another term expiring 2013.
