Recommended application conditions
  • Agitate the adhesive thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
    (SC457 will separate into two layers after standing, but can readily be homogenized. Separation does not occur within 12 hours after agitation.)
  • Apply the adhesive to the steel sheet to a dry coating weight of 5-9 g/m².
  • Bake the coated steel sheet up to 210-250°C in 90 seconds. Laminate PVC film immediately. (Laminating linear pressure 98.07 N/cm, laminating speed 8.0± 0.5 m/min, roller temperature 60°C)
  • Take out the heat of sheet into cold water rapidly within 5 seconds after lamination.
Handling,Safety and Storage
  • The product should be stored under conditions suitable for adhesives. Follow instructions in instruction manuals or as shown on the labels. The maximum shelf life of adhesives is one year. Use the lots out of a large quantity stored in order of age. Adhesives containing solvents are hazardous materials. Observe the provisions of fire prevention laws.
Precautions in handling
  • Solvent type adhesives contain volatile organic solvents and are, therefore, flammable. Take appropriate care to keep any ignition source away and to avoid static electricity, particularly when handling a large amount.
  • Prolonged inhalation of a large amount of organic solvents may be harmful to your health. Obey provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Law and Ordinance on Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning. Provide appropriate ventilation; use organic gas mask and goggles, as necessary. Use gloves or protective cream to avoid skin contact.
Environmental precautions
  • Precautions for use
    Volatilization of a large amount of organic solvents may pollute air. Take an appropriate measure to prevent volatilization when using a large amount of solvents continuously.
  • Precautions in disposal
    Discharging solvents into soil may result in water pollution. Incineration may pollute air by the organic gases generated. Please ask qualified disposal services to dispose of unnecessary adhesives.

The product is a flammable liquid; never use or store it near fire. Provide appropriate ventilation when handling the product to avoid organic solvent poisoning.

    - Keep ignition sources away.
    - Use a local ventilator to ensure sufficient air circulation.

    - In case of eye contact, vapor inhalation or swallowing, seek medical attention immediately.

    Store the product in a tightly closed container in a predetermined place at room temperature avoiding direct sunlight.
